Very worth a visit. Went Sep. 2025. You will need a car with AWD or 4WD to be allowed to go to the peak. The road actually is pretty easy, coming down requires understanding of downshifting but is not hard. You also need half a fuel tank minimum at the ranger station.

標高4207m。気温は登った時で5度でした。 富士山に毎年登っていますが富士山よりも高い山は初めて。歩くだけでも息切れします。 寒いのでタンブラーで暖かい飲み物を持ってきてギリギリまで車内で過ごす事をオススメ。 仮設トイレがあります。日本のトイレと異なり下がダイレクトに見え、便座が大きくお尻の小さな女性はちょっと怖いかも。 高地順応するまでは車で深呼吸をしながらゆっくり過ごして、水分をできるだけとりゆっくり歩く事をオススメ。時間があるからと車の中で眠ると息が浅くなり高山病のリスクが高くなるので起きた状態で待ちましょう。 注意事項としてレンタカーの場合、オニズカ以降の道は車は保険の対象外となります。初めての場合途中舗装されていないためサンライズはおすすしません。サングラスは必須。車は必ず4WD。年齢制限が12歳以上65未満（年々厳しくなっているため2025年現在）でなければ登れません。 雪が降っている季節は当然スタッドレスは履いていないためNG。 サンセットの場合、ゆっくり下山するため日没後30分程度で降りることをおすすめ。星空が見たい場合山頂や3800mでも良いのですが、星が見えるまではそこそこ時間がかかるため、2700mのオニズカエリアかもう... read more
