Really great experience here with Sage as a guide. Hearing his own family history on the islands of Hawaii as well as the greater historical context while being het in the face with it's beauty out on the water was second to none. Do not hesitate to book this tour, certainly the best way to get out there and whale watch, snorkel, or just relax and take in all the views.

My wife and I booked this tour on our honeymoon. Sage was awesome! He took the time to give us a geography lesson and shared the history of the islands while showing us the best snorkeling spots. We got to see some beautiful fish and were lucky enough to have a giant sea turtle swim up to us. 10/10 would recommend taking this unique ride out on the canoe if you're in Maui!

So nice to spend a couple hours on the water without a motor!! Sage was great sharing tidbits of Hawaii and sailing-canoeing us around the area.

We had an amazing time out on the water with Sage. Knowledgeable guide and an authentic experience. We were fortunate to have an amazing whale encounter and great snorkeling. I would definitely recommend Maui Sailing Canoe over the larger commercial outfits.

Had family come visit from the mainland, and wanted to try this out for ourselves as well. It did not disappoint! Sage & crew were awesome, it was super safe (I'm 70 and was a bit worried about boarding, etc.), and was very relaxing. The kids & grandkids absolutely loved the sail, jumping in the ocean and snorkeling to their hearts content. Really an awesome time. I would say bring your own water just in case, but everything else was provided and perfect! We'll be doing it again just the two of us locals.
