This company is great,responsive , fair and has great techs ! Frankie and Henrie do fantastic work . Ignore the other reviews this company is in the pool home warranty busniess and has to bear the bad news to other if there warranty does not cover the issue , this inturn causes people to write bad reviews that are not even the company's fault.
I have used them in the past- Frankie is excellent at his job. However, if you need help with insurance forms, the office manager just dismisses you. The deal is- I pay Maui pools for the new filter, then collect from the company. But Choice requires a report from the tech- OM refuses to do it or give it to the tech. Worse- I have asked four times to speak with owner to rectify this- she has yet to put me in contact. If the support is this bad- why deal with them? Frankie, from Maui Pools, came out to take care of a home warranty issue we had with our pool. He arrived the same day we called, diagnosed the issue and had repairs approved and completed in less than a week! Very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. Highly recommended!
The swimming pool and spa heater in our just purchased home did not work. Old Republic Home Protection sent Maui Pools out to inspect it. Maui Pools reported back to ORHP that the heater had not worked in years, parts weren't available, and the claim was denied. if that is the case, OK I can accept that. I asked for a copy of the report to give to the Seller (since he had signed a statement that the heater was in functioning order). Maui Pool Service came out to check my warranty request, pool heater not working. Frankie did several test to diagnose the problem. He was wonderful, helpful and professional. He got the information he needed to fix the problem and as he was leaving my weekly pool cleaner informed me my salt system wasn’t working.
