I just experienced racism while waiting to have my blood drawn at clinical labs. I was instructed to not eat or drink for 12 hours and I also couldn’t take my medicine. I was experiencing a severe electrolyte imbalance from this causing me an arrhythmia, and feelings of absolute panic but I had to suffer through it so my bloodwork would test correctly so we can identify the cause. The flobotomist is the nicest person in that place. Despite accepting new patients Ive waited for over a year to here back about my application for a pcp. The staff is rude every time I ask about the status of the application. I honestly think they never sent my application through and are deliberately wasting my time. Frankly a terrible experience.
