I contacted Mauerhan for a second opinion on my 9-year-old tankless water heater after it displayed an ignition failure error code and stopped producing hot water. Another plumber had already identified the issue as a leaking heat exchanger and showed me visible water leaking inside the unit. When I called Mauerhan, I clearly explained on the phone that the unit had an error code and was leaking.
