I had a prolapse duck. took her to Mattydale Animal hospital where they decided that surgery to correct the issue was the way to go, so I agreed to it. I called a few hours later and they told me she was all set to go. When I got there, they told me she was dead. That when they went back to check her after I called they found her dead in her cage. After an almost $400 charge, I found out by someone who has experience with prolapse ducks that the Dr. should have stabilized her BEFORE ever trying to do the surgery...... Not on... read more
