Sadly they are very seldom open, even if website says they are. You would think on Fridaysxthey would especially want to be open, but again website shows they are open, but after driving there they were closed. Seems to happen slot, so won’t waste my time trying to go there again.

I had the 3-pc fish and chips special. Fish, excellent chips, slaw, Hawaiian roll, a soft drink and two sauces for $7.50. I visited the Tempe location and was surprised at how good the food was and how reasonable the cost considering the amount of chow offered! The fish was excellent and the chips were fantastic and quite different from just about anywhere. The service was great and I'll definitely dine here many times in the future. Dana Slaughter

Seriously great fish and chips place. I got a 4 piece cajun style meal. For 9 bucks and some change I got 4 pieces of fish, chips, a hawaiian roll, and coleslaw, as well as two sauces and a drink. I went with tartar and chipotle. Since my favorite fish and chips spot shut down last year I've been on the hunt for a new one and I think I may have found it. Fish and Chips are phenomenal and coleslaw is very sweet! I’m from Southern VA and finding reliable comfort food has been tough ): Super excited to see they had cream soda and local frescas too

Matty G's fish and chips is now a great location. They keep it simple I wish they offered hot sauce but good food at a very respectable price.
