We did our research for a few months and when it was time for us to start shopping we went online and also went to Wilmington/Leland stores. We came into mattress Emporium because we had heard so much about them and wanted to meet the owner. The owner (Gerry) was very informative on each build of each individual mattress giving us pros and cons on all the brands. After shopping the local Leland stores and then going over to Wilmington, my family decided to come back to Mattress Emporium. They were able to get their price below every other store and we ended up getting our mattress the same day when the other mattress stores told us we could not. Genuine honest people not to mention they are local and not a chain store. My wife was treated with respect and the way that the owner treated my family like it was his own family. My Serta adjustable base mattress set is not raising the head or foot and is well within the warranty. I called Mattress Firm to come and fix it. No response as of last Thursday. I then called their service number. They called back and told me $210 just to look at it, didn't matter what the warranty said. I called the local company Mattress Emporium in Waterford and explained the problem to them. Would highly recommend buying a mattress here. No pressure while shopping. Didn’t try and sell us more expensive mattress in fact just the opposite. We could have gotten it the same day which is a bonus but chose next day.
