One of the best mechanics I have been to in awhile. He kept me informed on what was going on and told me what I may need in the near future. Will definitely be going back.

I was referred to Mattox Automotive in 2008, and needless to say he's been my only mechanic since then. He's worked on everything for me from Audi, Chevy, Toyota, etc. I drive from Hartselle passing by at least a dozen other shops just to get to him. I have no reservations when Steven diagnosis the issue. His shop rates are very reasonable and will offer options when you need services done to your car/truck.

Found this place after a recommendation from Facebook. Hands down best mechanic we have had in 5 states. Honest guy who goes above and beyond to keep ypu informed from start to finish! He not only fixed the issue, but was able to fix an issue from the dealership. He was fast, effective and prices were good. Will absolutely recommend Mattox Automotive to everyone.

Super nice. Fixed friend's car in couple of hours on the fly. Impressive shop.

By far the best mechanic in Northern Alabama. Steven has been working on my wife's car and mine for the past couple of years. He is honest and you cannot beat the prices for his services which is great because I'm broke 75% of the year. I would definitely recommend getting an estimate for your vehicle here before venturing off into town and getting your wallet emptied.
