Found this place after a recommendation from Facebook. Hands down best mechanic we have had in 5 states. Honest guy who goes above and beyond to keep ypu informed from start to finish! He not only fixed the issue, but was able to fix an issue from the dealership. He was fast, effective and prices were good. Will absolutely recommend Mattox Automotive to everyone.

By far the best mechanic in Northern Alabama. Steven has been working on my wife's car and mine for the past couple of years. He is honest and you cannot beat the prices for his services which is great because I'm broke 75% of the year. I would definitely recommend getting an estimate for your vehicle here before venturing off into town and getting your wallet emptied.
So I have to say I wish I would have know about Steven at Maddox Automotive years ago. My 2004 Jeep was have Trans problem and no one could figure it out but Steven did. We both agreed to put a new one in. Wow what a difference. Then because I new Steven was top notch and a Jeep guy I asked him about replacing my Suspension. I asked what brand and he asked what where my plans and how I was going to use the Jeep. So we put in a Metal Clock and now I'm rinding on cloud 9.
