Really great coffee , being pretty picky on quality Italian coffee- I came back 3 times in a row ! Warm service, absolutely delicious authentic Italian desserts and good live music ! Their moscato cream with fruit -dessert is light , fresh and my favorite ! We came just a few minutes before closing and the waiter was gracious enough to let us in and made us feel welcome. Charming ambiance with outdoor seating option.

We live in Monte Carlo (the "real" Monte Carlo) and have to say that Matto Matto is the most authentic Italian restaurant we have seen in USA. Disorganised, badly layed out, moody staff - sure that's part of the fun. But the pizzas and pasta is to die for. Friendly staff and live music (New York Italian guitarist) 3 days a week. Again the days seem to change based on the mood of the staff! If you want quick service with "standardised" food better go to Applebees. If you want the real Italian experience go to Matto Matto.
Stellar! You'll have to trust me when I say I know a good cappuccino when I see one, but out of Italy they rarely measure up...MattoMatto, however, served me up a dreamy double cap that had me all misty eyed envisioning the magical hills of Tuscany.
