It’s such a shame they are closing this fantastic place down!!!
I was hopeful walking in with its atmosphere, but was quickly disappointed in food that seemed way over priced. We got a few beers and ordered the fish and chips and corned beef sandwich. The expensive sandwich came on the cheapest of white bread, though the mustard was good, along with a plate of fries without ketchup. The fish and chips at $27, was so underwhelming. Was excited to grab a Guiness and Irish fare for lunch. I used to frequent Sine's all the time, but M&E Irish Bar isn't same vibe. My partner and I grabbed Shepherd's Pie and Beef Stew with the intentions of sharing, but the portions were small for the price you pay. $75 for lunch, doesn't feel worth a trip back.
Great service. Lukewarm beer.
