I just received a UPMC message that Dr. Mlakar will no longer be with Northern Medical Associates effective the end of August. I am devastated. She has been my doctor going back 30 years. The trust and relationship regarding my medical needs with her cannot be replaced. She has given me excellent care,. She has an excellent bedside manner. She has excellent communication skills. And she gives excellent follow-up care.

Dr. Mlakar is an excellent P.C.P. i trust her with my life as I have in the past. She saved my life. She is extremely thorough and thoughtful. I worry that I won't have such amazing care when she retires.
