Purchased a (used) boat from them in March, 2019, and still haven't received the registration. Have been promised, numerous times, that they're going to DNR "next week", that they've gone and we should have it in the mail, they're going to bring it to us, etc. 9 MONTHS since we bought the boat and still only getting lip service/promises. Next step is to file a formal complaint with the State Attorney General.
I don’t recommend tidewater boats. The customer service and warranty is a pain to deal with. You will get many excuses as to why it’s taking so long to get your boat back. Over 3 month to get some pretty basic warranty work done and I am getting my boat back tomorrow with the understanding that the work isn’t completed. This has been a crap show ever since I dropped it off.
Matthews Marine did a great job for me. They washed and waxed my boat and made it look like brand new. All the scuff marks were removed and the mildew on the chairs were eradicated. The Boat looks great and their service team is second to none. They were less than many other boat dealers nearby. All their staff were great and a pleasure to deal with. If you need anything done on your boat I would not hesitate to use them. They are the best, period.
