A big shout out to the service dept at Matthews Fun Machines. Just picked up my 2014 Moto Guzzi California after having the 6200 mile service done, along with installing additional brake/running/tail lights. The work was completed on time as stated, very professionally done, accessories were installed where it looked factory installed. I have used the service dept here for 11 years and have never been disappointed. Thanks to all that handled my bike. Wayne Clifton
Stay away from Mathews Fun Machines or you will be sorry. I took my bike there to get my trans checked it was jumping out of first gear. They wanted $2000 + to fix it I could not afford that but there were 3 recalsthat had not been done so I left the bike there to have those done while I looked for an other shop to fix my trans figuared I would help them out it was off season and they got to make money too. Special Christmas Service – Matthews Fun Machines really took care of me. I bought a used bike for my kid at Christmas and sure enough I went to start it on the 23rd and it would not run right. I took it in on the 23rd and they had it running right just in time for Christmas.
Worst service EVER! – I took my bike in because it wouldn't stay started. It has 500 miles on it and I bought it in January of 2011. They told me that the problem was the carburetor and it would be $220. In asking questions they said that they had drained some gas and didn't find any trash and they had not taken the carburetor all the way off to 100% find the problem. I called Kawasaki and that customer service rep said "I don't blame them for trying to make a buck off you, since you didn't buy it from them." I called Hager ... read more
Stay away from them – You will be sorry if you go there. They broke my motorcycle while trying a simple fix and they refused to fix it. They even lied and said these parts break all the time. Read all of the reviews and you will see this is not a one time occurance. There are other shops like Corral, Iron Horse, Hendrick, etc that are much better choices. Stay away from Freedom too as it is the same owner hiding under a different name.
happy customer – Regular customer for 10+ years. Glad to have a multi-line dealership close to home with a Cycle Gear located directly beside Matthews Fun Machines is a plus. I know many areas who do not have a local shop to go to for there powersports needs.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The salesmen at this facility will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to make a sale!!! They will pretend like they care for you as a person who is going to spend thousands of dollars on a 'cycle, but they could care less! All they care about is making that sale, making that commission.
