Dr. Alexandra Matthews assists young people in finding the college that perfectly matches each student's needs: uniquely and financially. She personally visits school campuses, large and small, each year. On top of that she is clinically skilled in evaluating kids of all ages for learning disabilities. Every young person I've referred to Dr. Matthews for college admissions consulting has thanked me profusely. She gets results above and beyond the standard bar. Her work is extraordinary. She also provides testing for different learning styles, that get people accommodations for test taking and schooling in general. She’s done phenomenal work getting students of all ages what they need to be able to perform to get into school, or while in school. All I’ve referred to her so far, have reported great results.

We first went to Alexandra to assess my son’s learning disabilities when he was a high school junior. When I first spoke with her on the phone she asked me to tell her about my son. I probably went on for a solid five minutes without taking a breath, at which point, she said “I get it”. What relief I felt; none of the judgey, pitying sounding ‘hmmms’ or ‘oh’s’ that I’d heard from others that had no concept of the difficulties we had. Though Dr.Matthews is helping both my teenagers work on their college resumes, she has helped us with so much more than that. Now we are focused on identifying colleges and courses of study that might be a good fit as well as financial planning and scholarships but we didn't start out knowing that college would be a sure thing for our children.
