Reviewed my medical history as it is complicated. Felt Dr. Simmons was interested in improving my total health.
Dr. Simmons managed to have 25+ things wrong in 8 pages of paperwork when he was speaking into software in the room AND I corrected him. Blatant disregard for my health and time, obviously enjoys playing with his patients lives.
My doctor referred me to a neurologist for symptoms of Parkinson’s. Dr Simmons noted I had balance issues and a resting tremor while in his office but dismissed it as “I need a psychological assessment” and “cognitive behavior therapy to retrain my brain to act normal”. No tests were done and told me to stop taking a medication I have been on. Then he said he would see me in a year. Yeah no I will be looking for a different neurologist.
Dr Simmons immediately discounted my symptoms and attibuted them to psychological origins since i battle depression and anxiety even though many of my symptoms do not fit that conclusion. After several months and several doctors I've been able to pinpoint that the neurological symptoms were the complex result of a couple of genetic mutations affecting my metabolism of vit. B and a severe deficiency in vit. D3 No tests were ever persued even when deteriorating abilities to function presented.
