I suffered for 5 years with hip pain but too scared to have surgery. I was recommended to Dr Austin and went for a consultation, at the time I was not scheduling an appointment until I thought it over. After meeting with Dr Austin I changed my mind immediately. He informed me about the details of the surgery explaining that every patient is different. First knee done September 2024. Excellent surgery team & hospital staff. HSS. Second knee done June 2025. Same wonderful experience. First week both times difficult today with post op exam 105 range motion one month in off all meds no assistance. Dr Matthew was wonderful great job. Kayla did excellent job with sutures. Would do again if I had to. Cannot recommend this team & hospital enough.
Met Doctor Austin for a knee replacement on June 24. What impressed me the most was humble , friendly and caring and knowledgeable he was. I had blood clots several times and on blood thinners. I also have sleep apnea and it will be a big risk to have this surgery,. but that of course this was his opinion, and I could look for other opinions. He was so sincere, there is no need for another opinions. We discussed other treatments. I will recommend Doctor Austin to anyone. God bless him.
