I come from a medical family and grew up with a lot of doctors, so it took me a while to find a doctor that listens. Dr. Panahandel is that doctor. He cares, listens, and tries to diagnose with the understanding of your needs.
*I would like to start off my saying that I contacted UPMC's patient advocacy to help with the issues I was having with this office in August of 2023 and, as of January 2025, I still haven't received a call back. Good doctor, listens to your concerns and isn’t condescending.
This is has been my PCP for a long time. I trust his medical diagnosis and personal input. He truly listens to his patients, which is rare. I always can get an appointment when I need it and if he is unsure- he will refer you to someone who can help. I will follow him to any location because finding a Doctor like him is super rare.
