Endometriosis, and he really is a gold star rated surgeon. One year later, I feel so much better. You don't realize how much you gave up till it was gone and started getting it back. Do the treatments after that they recommended. Personal trainer, why would I need that. Helped a lot.
I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in July 2002 by a different OB that didn’t believe in my pain because I was “too young” (25yrs old) to have endometriosis. I switched OB’s to Dr. Christine Sarkinen, another great doctor and highly recommend if you don’t need endometrial surgery, after that. I was able to have my only son in 2004 after the initial laparoscopy and endometrial oblation in 2002. Birth control did help with the pain. Dr Palmer has been instrumental in helping me manage endometriosis and other female health issues. I’ve had 2 laparoscopic surgeries and another scheduled. He is kind, compassionate, thorough and very skilled I would recommend him to anyone who needs specialized care for female health. I travel 10 hours away to see him and even with the inconvenience of traveling it’s 1000% worth it!!
Super disappointing waiting for this appointment getting my hopes up from other reviews just to be let down and told to try birth control to help with pain...a complete waste of a five min rushed appointment that I payed out of pocket for just to leave feeling more defeated then ever..don't trust a book by it's cover of false promises that he is the best and will even actually listen and care at all.
