What can I say about this man other than he saved my legs and possibly my life. He is the most compassionate, knowledgeable and incredible doctor I've been ever met. He's thorough and to the point but in a way that puts you at ease. He is highly skilled - he debrided both of my legs and fixed a long problem causing hernia. If you are his patient, he and his office staff (who are all equally awesome) will have your back. Why did he get five stars? Because I couldn't give him ten!
Many many years with Dr. Montgomery. Excellent surgeon. Very understanding. Explains issues honestly and to the point in a very kind manner.Also does Colonoscopies. Easy and simple experience.
I had my consultation with him. He went over all my options in great detail. He wasn't rushing like other doctors. At the end of the appointment he asked to pray over me for a quick recovery. Then on the day of my surgery he made sure I didn’t have anymore questions. He then asked again to pray. He knows that God controls what happens. Dr. Montgomery was so kind. He listened to me and answered all my questions. Definitely will go back to him if I ever need a surgery. Thank you Dr. Montgomery! I feel 100 times better.
I went to see Dr. Montgomery because my PCP was concerned that I might have a hernia. Because I don't have a car, my MH/IDD counselor took me to my appointment. Dr. Montgomery did not speak to me at first, he spoke to her. He assumed that I was intellectually disabled without speaking to me. (For the record, I have bipolar disorder, not Down's Syndrome.)
