Terrible. As an existing patient I missed ONE 6 month appt. bc I was in the hospital (Jan. ‘25). Called when I got out to make another appt. He’s booked out to Oct. ‘25. Walgreens has been trying to get my RX refilled. They called his office several times on my behalf. Pharmacy (and I) called his office. I’ve been out of meds over a week, still NO RESPONSE. Out of thyroid meds. Can’t get refill or appt. Shame on his office & Crystal Run.
Im planing to switch thyroid doctors after a year of worsening symptoms and repeatedly feeling dismissed. My previous doctor refused to check my T3 levels, stating they weren’t important, even though my research and lived experience say otherwise. Saw this doctor a few times, my general doctor was on vacation, I needed blood pressure meds renewed since he was out of the country. This doctor refused to write my blood pressure meds that I have been on for 20 years. He stated since he did not write the original script, he cannot do anything. I thought doctors care about the total patient. This doctor should have his medical license taken. I had previous congestive heart failure and needed those meds. Doctor did not respect me enough to explain changes to how they would go about treating me and when I asked questions he dismissed me by telling me to give him a moment as he walked out of the room and did not return.
I had never seen such an amazing Doctor as Dr Leone! He treats me for diabetes, for the past 5 years and I don’t change him for anyone else. Gives me excellent advices and helps me to control my sugar levels. I totally recommend him!
