My 90 year old mother was referred to Dr. Levinsky for assistance in managing her very high blood pressure which her primary care team had been unsuccessful in lowering. dr levinsky put my pacemaker in many years ago. in my opinion he is one of the best doctors i have ever had.
No one on the floor knew he came in. He came in room, no definite diagnosis. Said he would discharge me. He said it was probably my meds and left. Didn't even ask my name. Regardless, I needed more tests and to stay longer according to real doctor on call.
Horrible bedside manner. No definite diagnosis given. Tried to discharge me without speaking to anyone else on the floor. Rude and dismissive.
Horrible, went there on advice of my PCP after experiencing more SOB than usual . I do have enlarged heart and high blood pressure and diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension from numerous years of smoking , yes I quit . First words out of his mouth was “ why are you here ?” Okay now mind you he could have read my chart but was clueless then he proceeded to tell me not his problem it’s the lung drs ! Do not recommend this doctor.
Dr. Levinsky operated on my father inserting a pacemaker. Dr. Levinsky chatted the whole time he was operating to someone else in the room about a ballgame. My dad felt extremely anxious and a lot of pressure as Dr. Levinsky pulled, forced, maneuvered the pacemaker in position. Once operation was over, my father was very sore and so bruised it was unbelievable! When he went for follow ups, staff seemed in disbelief when they saw the extent of his bruising. Careless and unskilled!
I found that dr. levinsky was very knowlegable in diagnosing my problem. he changed my medication and i'm doing fine.
