I went to Morristown medical center emergency room with diverticulitis and ended up getting admitted. I met with Dr Huk and immediately felt comfortable with him. He explained all the options and I elected to have him perform surgery. The surgery ended up being more complex than originally thought and he did an excellent job. From before the surgery he really explained everything and was very caring. I cannot recommend him enough.
My husband has been under the care of Dr Huk. He always communicates and explains. He made us feel very comfortable during the first visit and he's been great ever since. We have complete trust.
My son needed to have resection surgery of his intestine from Crohn's. After being referred by my son's gastroenterologist and reading about Dr. Huk, myself, my son and my wife were in agreement that Dr. Huk was the surgeon we needed. Now, after meeting Dr. Huk for a consult he was phenominal . He was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had and put us at ease. Dr. Huk takes the time to thoroughly explain your procedure. Even offering scenarios he could take, if any surprises arise in surgery. He will put you at ease with his fun bedside manner. He’s straight forward, in a kind, confident, compassionate manner. Communication is GREAT; he won’t leave you wondering, doubting or confused. Also kept other doctors on my team in the know. He’s very knowledgeable, trustworthy and talented, he’s a great choice!
