Dear Dr. Epstein and Team, I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with how my mother was treated at her appointment this morning. Her appointment was scheduled for 9:15 AM, and she arrived at 9:25 AM only five minutes late after we had spent the morning trying unsuccessfully to reach your office to let you know she was running behind. Dr. Epstein is not interested in listening. He has no integrity. This appointment was scheduled to discuss my two sleep study results and options. When he informed me that he never received a copy of my sleep study, nor had he ordered it, I was shocked, disappointed and quite angry. What doctor calls you a liar within minutes of entering the exam room? Dr. Epstein just kept asking me "what do you want to do?" Are you going ahead with the CPAP or not? I’ve been a patient of Dr Epstein for over 8 years. Very satisfied with his care. His medical advice is sound. He’s caring and friendly. He listens to my concerns. His staff is organized and very helpful. I highly recommend him and plan on staying with him.
Dr. Epstein was curt, brash, interrupted me frequently, and didn’t seem to care to actually listen. Just asked a bunch of yes or no questions. Horrible bedside manner.
