Waiting time to see the doctor with a scheduled appointment is ridiculous. Over an hour most times but this last time almost 2 hours. The front desk staff are rude and unfriendly. We've switched to the Lakewood Ranch location ENT. No comparison.
Not welcoming front desk. Argumentative when they had misinformation in my medical records and reportin. Did not relate to my medical history or condition. Never did see Dr. BYERS FOR MY REASON FOR VISIT DUE TO CONCUSSION. HITTING MY HEAD EAR TEMPORAL AREA CONCERN LUMP BEHIND EAR. WANTED HEARING TEST TO eliminate that there was no damage to inner and out ear from fall, and visible neck and jaw and ear bone pain. NOT OF DIMINISHED HEARING I had ringing in ear. I waited 1 hour and 45 mins to see the doctor before I left
The appointment was right on schedule, and the doctor and staff were super friendly and accommodating.
I can't review Dr Byers abilities as an ENT Dr. That being said I spent over 1 1/2 hours on his waiting room over 2 different appointments and never got in to see him. Apparently their appointments are a poorly planned guess. I have 5 other doctors thru Intercoastal and have never waited over 10 minutes. If you have unlimited time to waste he might be your doctor, but he's not mine. I questioned the woman at check in about how much longer it might be, she had no idea and said this wasn't uncommon.
