Dr. Tate gave me my life back 2yrs ago. Meningioma brain tumor. Doing very well.
I would recommend anyone to Dr. Tate who has brain cancer and needs a possible surgery when other hospitals seem to fail you. My dad has recently been diagnosed with the most aggressive and deadliest brain cancer called Glioblastoma Grade 4. The neurosurgeon and doctors at Mayo Clinic in Rochester wouldn't do surgery on my dad because his cancer was the "Wild Type" and would paralyze him. I brought my dad to see Dr. Tate at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and he removed 90% of of my dad's tumor mass which ended up prolonging ... read more
Dr Tate recently put a shunt in my head several weeks ago with no significant side effects..I am totally pleased. He did a great job. He is a wonderful Neurosurgeon who answered all my questions and did my surgery with sensitivity and care.. He made me into a new person. I would recommend Dr. Matthew Tate to anyone.. David Stein
