I have visited Dr Banks office twice in the last two weeks. I have to say the staff is very caring and nurse Michelle went above and beyond! I was having a procedure done (lumbar puncture) and there was a complication due to the amount of arthritis in my lower back. She wet paper towels, comforted me, and had someone bring me cold water. Dr. Banks was also amazing as he gave me the option to try again or go to the hospital where they can xray to see where there is a possible space for the needle to go. I've very disappointed in the lack of empathy towards a person and being so condescending. From being lost by staff in a room that they had to call my phone to ask were I was to just simply not caring. I have gone with my husband twice and he never wants me to go back. I also have other medical issues that have forced me to be unable to work. Disability ask for ALL records. This was just a small part of it. My daughter saw Dr Banks for a concussion she received 3 weeks prior. He gave her a thorough neuro exam and listened to her complaints. He was very sincere and empathetic! I highly recommend Dr Banks for any neurology issues! Absolutely the best neurologist in Fayetteville hands down!
I' saw this provider several weeks ago, I've been having problems sleeping 🥱 so my primary provider gave me a referral to see him at Recon Neurology Please Run and don't look back, I' waited 20min. in a cold examination room, when Dr. Matthew Bank's finally came in, I' told him all about my sleeping issues; he played to listen but he didn't. useless.. i asked for help on neuropathy and huge swelling ankles.. i knew i had neuropathy witch confirmed.. 7 tubes of blood today.. asked about swelling.. he told me he only does nerves and said i need a cardio dr… i wanted answers on swelling.. thanks
