In early August I went in to have my periodic 5-year colonoscopy at AdventHealth. Dr. Maryam Kashi found a 5cm. cancerous mass in my colon. She immediately sent a biopsy of the mass to the lab, ordered CT scans of my abdomen, pelvis, and chest, and referred me to Dr. Matthew Albert, a colon and rectal surgeon in the same facility. Dr Albert did two major surgeries on me, one when i was in extremely poor health. I credit Dr A to being here today.
I was fortunate to have Dr. Albert as my surgeon when diagnosed with colon cancer. He was compassionate, thorough, professional, and everything needed when I and my family had to deal with the diagnosis and treatment. Thank you to Dr. Albert and his staff!
Dr.Albert was absolutely the best. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment he walked into the exam room. My condition was challenging and Dr Albert gave me options after all the exhausting test results was returned. I know that I'm in great hands with Dr.Albert who approached the type of exams that one must go through with a light hearted tone that naturally sets you in full comfort that you're with the best doctor for his expertise. I recommend him highly .
