Great Dr! Explains issues in understanding language and knows about your concerns BEFORE he arrives at your appt. What I also appreciate is his direct approach to plan/treatment options with pros/cons clearly stated. I’ve worked with him on a few issues and have the utmost respect for him as a Dr. and overall person!
I wasn’t impressed with my experience. As soon as my Dr walked in to the room his first comment was “Don’t tell me you don’t have insurance “. “Really no insurance “?! Which threw me off because I do in fact have insurance, I just wasn’t able to give it over the phone when I made my appointment, because I was on my way to work. But I brought my card in, when I checked in. He quickly diagnosed me with ulnar impacting syndrome, it was the first time I had ever seen him and this was without getting images of my other wrist/hand... read more

Dr. Hofkens was extremely professional and friendly during my appointment. He spoke clearly and described exactly what he was planning to do and made sure to answer any questions I might have had. I did not feel as if he was rushing through my appointment. I would absolutely recommend him if asked.
