Building a home can be stressful, especially moving from another state, but our experience with Mattamy Homes was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We are beyond grateful for the entire team and truly love our beautiful new home in North Carolina. ***EDIT*** While I highly recommend this neighborhood solely because of the people who also live here, the HOA is a huge black eye. Mattamy needs to figure out a better company that works with the home owners instead of against them. This amendmended review comes after our annual HOA meeting, where while they did a good job explaining the budget, they answered none of our pressing questions in terms of their responsibilities. EDIT: Can no longer recommend this community due to the repressive, non-responsive HOA management company (Elite Management "Professionals") that of course the residents have no control over until the entire community is completed. They drive around and cite residents for things that aren't even violations of any rules (including rules that they themselves are breaking in common areas) and then won't respond to any emails or calls. Let me start by saying we LOVE our neighbors. The family feel we have already been able to create is absolutely wonderful. (They're the reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1) One of the things many of us bond over? The issues after issues we have been experiencing with Mattamy since day 1. Let me explain why this isnt a 5 star first. We were told our house would be built a month sooner than it was, and that caused a little hiccup. This is not the fault of the site manager and site builder, but Mattamy as a company. Now that that is out off the way, the experience in dealing g with Manager Monroe and Builder John was awesome. They kept us informed with almost daily phone calls, messages and emails.
