We brought our house in 2021. We having on going issue with basement leakage. They keep saying it’s because of humidity. Spent too much $$ for fixing the issue but looks like it’s the poor construction . Never buy house from Mattamy . Now we approached to new home warranty. Hope they will find the issue. If possible I would give them 0 star.
I’ve experienced extremely poor customer service from the sales team at Mattamy. The interactions were not only unprofessional but also dismissive especially when dealing with customers from the South Asian community. It’s disappointing to see this level of service from such a well-known developer, particularly at a major project like Cityscape. When we went to buy house in Cityscape. Raheel told us in our native language that my wife and I are qualified for GST rebate and this program is being offered by Mattamy only and has nothing to do with the government GST rebate program which wasn't even in effect at that time. It was our last day to remove the condition and we were actually there to cancel the purchase. Never buy a house from Mattamy. If you want then make sure to get everything in a written form. Because they never complete the things which they say verbally. Initially they told different lawn plan to you in a meeting then do the half of that. Even, switches are in bad quality in a newely built home.if we send them emails about 10 times about this then they said it’s not replaceable. 1 room and washroom don’t get warm in a cold whether and Mattamy did nothing about it.
