I called in to inquire about their homes. The sale Agent, Burnidette came off rude by not letting me ask questions. I felt she was not polite in the phone I really didn't want to give her my info because of the experience talking to her. Then I told her I would stop in to look at homes. I am grateful for the solid construction of my Mattamy Home. My home survived Hurricane Ian (Cat 4, almost Cat 5). We had a tree topple over in the backyard, but that was it. We moved from Illinois in May of 2022 and were used to tornadoes and blizzards, but nothing compared to this monster of a storm. I'd buy again.

Pay close attention to the condition of bath tubs, sinks, cabinets, etc. that Mattamy Homes installs in your “new” home. I’m convinced they buy and install used/ damaged pieces at a discount and then market themselves as a higher end builders. There are/were plenty of craftsmanship problems I noticed before closing, but they had been pushing our date out for six months and I was exhausted. Mattamy Homes (Avea Point, Lutz FL) has repeatedly removed this posting! Please read before purchasing in the Tampa Bay Area. This is a legitimate posting. Unfortunately, our family has gone through the worst building experience with Mattamy Homes. We have built homes in Pennsylvania and Florida and never experienced such poor workmanship in a new construction home until now. I wouldn't recommend this company to build your next home, the materials used are terrible and our new house and many others in the community are cracking terribly. Tiles are cracking and that's not covered, the wood used for framing was in poor condition, the new slab was cracked in many places and now the house is settling. We are on our 3rd service rep who makes appointments to get thing fixed and no one shows up. Very frustrating

I am a Very Angry homeowner in (Wells Creek. Mattamy Homes) my husband and I purchased a home in September 2019. One of the very important factors for us purchasing a house is that it MUST have a pool.
