Today spoke by phone with Donald in the Kia Service Department. I had an extended warranty issue to be resolved. Donald took the time to listen and understand the problem. Then, he called Assurant Insurance to rectify the problem. He went beyond my request and removed by deductible for the upcoming claim. I am most grateful to Donald for his kindness. He is truly an asset to the Kia Service Department.
Seems disorganized & confusing. Sold me a part & service for a ‘25 Kia I bought from them earlier this year. Made me prepay on the phone when I booked it. Showed up & no one knew about my appointment? Then I owed more money for the service, I only supposedly paid for the part? So I drop the car off… hours later they call to tell me the part isn’t compatible with my trim level? That they had to call Kia proper to find that out? I bought a car on Thursday 10/30/25. It had an issue with low battery apparently which caused a check engine light. Service said they dealt with the problem. Completed the purchase at 530 pm drove it a little and went out to dinner. At 9pm same night. Car was dead. Bad battery according to Kia roadside assistance tech. He jumped it and I went home. On my Kia Forte GT, I had taken it in for an oil change, they discovered the water pump was leaking coolant. A part was needed so Donald recognized I would need a vehicle and scheduled a rental. He provided the solution without me even needing to ask. They gave me a ride to Entetprise and Donald did a great job keeping me informed over the next 3 days. It was covered under Kia’s warranty so it did not cost anything. Thank you Donald for making what could’ve been a stressful situation into a very hassle free experience.
