I have never experienced such a caring and welcoming practice! From the minute you walk in the door until you leave everyone takes the time to say hi and check in with my daughter. The consult was not rushed, everything was explained and you didn't feel pressured to make a decision right then and there. Honestly, if you're looking for an great orthodontist, just go see Dr. Matsumoto. We actually had 2 consultations with two other orthodontist clinics in town, and both told us we had to wait for more permanent teeth to come in before fixing the kids' narrow palates. But we wanted to do early intervention—and both refused. All three of mine (6, 8, and 9) had top and bottom expanders for about 7 months at the same time. Dr. Matsumoto and his team have been such a pleasure to work with. The way expanders were explained to me made so much more sense than having teeth extracted! Their approach to orthodontics was much more natural than the traditional orthodontist and they were more understanding of my concerns as a mother. Since we didn’t have insurance that covered ortho, we paid out of pocket. The office worked out a payment plan for us.
