The omakase was fantastic! Our server really vibed with us and made it a memorable experience.
Recently came back to visit Matsuhisa after moving out of Denver and was really disappointed by my experience. Everything seemed like it had been sitting out. The rock shrimp was extremely soggy, and I wouldn't recommend the salmon skin roll.
The BEST spicy tuna crispy rice I’ve ever had hands down. It’s even amazing to go which is hard to do with sushi.
For a $400 dinner for 2, you’d think you wouldn’t be sitting at an empty table for several minutes in between plates. Maybe we just had a lousy server, he didn’t seem like he cared for his job. Otherwise, food was delicious.
