Food was wonderful! The best food I had in Vail.
Service was good but the quality of the food was not. While the presentation of each dish was good, the taste was subpar and the ingredients did not feel fresh. Additionally I would say the restaurant lacks a sense of identity - all of the different elements clashed rather than complimented each other. Lastly, this was one of the most expensive omakase experiences I have had, and the least worth it.
Great service! The crispy tuna appetizer was very good. Their sticky rice is the best I've had anywhere. The chicken skewer was a bit over cooked and dry. The nigiri salmon sushi was just ok. The salmon sashimi was just ok. The avocado rolls were very good as were the spicy tuna. I liked the size of the rolls and not too much rice. Disappointed their salmon was just average. For the price, I expected better sushi.
The sushi and the Service are phenomenal! I highly recommend asking for the crab hand roll that is off the menu. A local who is sitting next to us, told us about it and it’s excellent.
