I have a Regal 5260 Express Cruiser and when I first bought the boat new, I learned that good performance was dependent upon having the props coated with Prop Speed. Only problem was that prop speed quickly wore off (6-9 months) and it affected RPM performance negatively. I learned of a product back in about 2010 called Mussel Buster that was a baked on ceramic coating that did what prop speed did (provided a slick surface on the prop blades).
