So happy with the haircut Sho gave me! I went in with disjointed layers and asked him to blend them better without using thinning shears. Whatever he did gave my wavy-ish hair great volume while keeping the ends looking thick. Everything from booking the appointment to the last spritz of hairspray was a lovely experience, and I’d definitely recommend him and the salon to others :)
Love this salon, had a haircut with Kako and she's just lovely and super talented! Was a bit scared at first to try out a new salon in NYC but it was totally worth it. Super happy, gonna come back.

Just moved to NYC and was scared to find a new hair home... I'm very particular with very thick coarse hair. I took a chance with Michelle and she was amazing! I love my cut and color by her so much and will be returning!!!!
I’ve been to this salon twice now and both times I saw Kako for a cut. I don’t trust people with my hair easily after several less than ideal experiences at other salons, but Matono has officially become my go-to, especially with Kako. She actually listens and understands what I want and still exceeds my expectations every time. She’s amazing, and everyone at the salon is so warm and sweet. Highly recommend!!!
