I’ve been to this braiding service twice now, and both times I’ve absolutely loved how my braids came out! Her work is always neat, beautiful, and exactly what I ask for. She’s super kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. I definitely recommend her if you're looking for quality braids and great service! 😌

Edit: We discovered there was actually a mistake on her part in mishearing what time I was coming, and she’s been very accommodating to try to rectify the mistake. I bumped my reviews from 3 to 4 stars because of her earnest effort :) Original review: Mataoma does a fantastic job, but she did not schedule my appointment properly. I came in with a 1:30pm appointment that did not start until 4pm, which messed up my entire Saturday. If you book with her, ask how many other people she has booked on the day you’re coming in. Blessed hands, I request small box braids and she gave me exactly that. she did not pull my hair while she braided it and my braids felt comfortable. There was no tension on my scalp or edges when I left her chair and she’s a fast Braider. Definitely recommend.
