Poured me a perfect absinthe drip even though she didn’t have sugar cubes
The food was good, but as others have said, plates were fairly small and moderately expensive for what they were. Drinks were incredible as was the service. One note, the spring 2026 menu was significantly different than the previous menus which seemed more Italian. Our menu was predominantly Asian and vegetarian which was fine for me but my partner was excited about Italian offerings and so was disappointed. Wow, what a perfect evening. Best meal I've had in years, my tastebuds were in heaven. Service from Tony and Evynne was personable, knowledgeable, and overall top notch. It's clear they're both very experienced industry professionals. Out of all the restaurants I went to over the weekend, Matia definitely outshines them all. A must visit while in Orcas, I'm already dreaming of coming back!
