Lovely evening relaxing at Matia Lounge over fantastic food. While we’ve enjoyed the tasting and course menus over the years, the Lounge is more our vibe since we’re camping on our summer visits to Orcas. Our server, her first night off training, was personable and attentive. Cocktails were unique, tasty and strong. We sampled most of the smaller bar bites and enjoyed all of them, especially the sourdough, local greens and prawn buns. Requires advance planning to book a reservation but well worth it.

The food was good, but as others have said, plates were fairly small and moderately expensive for what they were. Drinks were incredible as was the service. One note, the spring 2026 menu was significantly different than the previous menus which seemed more Italian. Our menu was predominantly Asian and vegetarian which was fine for me but my partner was excited about Italian offerings and so was disappointed.
