We partially chose Mathnasium due to the 5 star reviews. My son's 7th grade Math year was pretty chaotic considering a school strike, his math teacher passed, and his school had to close and send students to another school due to a winter weather event. After using them for 4 months, in fall of 24, and paying $380 per month, $1.5k total, I'd say they are meh.
