We started Mathnasium when our second grader started struggling in math class. To struggle at this age is very concerning to us as this is the foundation. When talking to her teacher, she said my daughter understood but just lacked focus. When I worked with her, though, it was clear my daughter already had gaps. When I would try filling those gaps myself, it always turned into frustration and tears for everyone involved, which just compounded my daughter's lack of confidence and hatred for math and school. Super grateful for Sarah at Mathesium she has been so helpful in getting my daughter set up with tutoring. Math has been a struggle for my daughter and they are changing her outlook of math and making it fun where she’s is excited to go and asked when she gets to go again every time she is picked up. We have 2 children attending, and both have improved so much. One child has improved her skills and raised her testing scores at school, my other child gets extra help and challenged for his advanced math while also raising his scores!
