Mathnasium here in Hyatssville has been great for both of our kids! We first fojnd out about it through a school sponsored progam for our daughter at Hyattsville Elemntary! She has been in the program for 2 years and really enjoys it! Our son is in Hyattsville Middle and when the time came for more math, we knew just where to go! Keri and her team make Math fun and have created a really warm space for kids to learn, thrive and excel in Math!! We definitely recommend it!!

Mathnasium is awesome. My daughter is in the 4th grade and at the beginning of the year, she was struggling with the math she was learning in class and was quickly developing a negative attitude, going as far as to say that she "hated math". Thankfully, Mathnasium opened a location that was close to where we live and my daughter started with Mathnasium in January. My 10-year-old always loves going to Mathnasium which says a lot, given she typically complains about most everything else she is signed up for by way of extracurriculars. She raves about how nice and helpful the staff are, and is feeling more confident in her math skills in school. This is why we signed her up, because we didn't have time or expertise to tutor her in math when her school recommended she needed help grasping the concepts. My daughter transferred from Mathnasium Silver Spring to Hyattsville about a year ago. The facility is brand new and the team here is great! I truly value the open communication with the center—the director is easy to get in contact with, and I receive a summary after every session and progress reports periodically. It’s easy to stay on top of my daughter’s progress and what skills she’s working on. Love the specialized tutoring and the feedback after each session. The flexible hours, including Saturdays, make scheduling really convenient. We’ve seen a big boost in our daughter’s confidence, and she genuinely enjoys going, which is a huge plus.
