I started seeing Mathilda at the start of the pandemic, and I feel grateful that she is the therapist I’m meeting with. We’ve actually not met in person, because we have been having video sessions, which I did feel hesitant about at first, but it didn’t feel to awkward or even much different from in person therapy, especially after 1 or 2 sessions. Unless she moved, this location isnt accurate for Matilda Dunn , but I’m going to leave a review anyway, in case it helps someone make a decision about therapy. The school counselor at my daughters high school recommended Matilda after I told her we weren’t making progress with another therapist, and I’m really glad I took her recommendation. I’ve seen so many therapists over the years, and Ms. Dunn is the best I’ve seen. Shes taught me practical skills that help me with my anxiety, and taught helpful tools from the very first session. She’s warm and encouraging, but doesn’t just let me talk and vent, she offers insight and helps me think about things differently, and gently challenges me to examine my responses to different situations in my life.
