100% a great surgeon my sciatic pain has gone . I couldnt even stand for a few minutes now Im back to normal. A very pleasant Dr , would recommend .
Horrible experience. Zero stars if i could. Told I had mild stenosis that was it, nothing of concern. Was in a mva 2 years ago and appeared to reinjured an old injury from that accident. For 2 months I've had numbness and excruciating pain from base of my head to middle of my spine with loss of feeling in my extremities. Imaging and the readouts showed degenerative discs and bulging discs in the cervical spine, shift between c2-c3 discovered in the last 2 weeks on an xray. My visit with Dr Matthews was very good! From the entrance to the exit. I have never received the kindness and information as I did there. Dr. Matthews was very helpful and showed me my information on the cd and I would highly recommend both Dr Matthews and his staff for your care.
Dr. Mathews gave my husband his life back! After 9 months of excruciating back and leg pain, he walked out of recovery pain free! He is highly skilled and very personable! He explained everything in no rush before and after surgery. The procedure was Microscopic Lumbar Laminectomy with Discectomy - Right L4 & L5. 10/10 recommend Dr. Mathews & the Howell Allen staff! Very grateful!
