I have been seeing him now. Just over two years and I love the way he has gotten my diabetes under control. He is very personable and has a great bedside manner.
I wanted a doctor who listens to me as a whole person and not just an assessment checklist. He was asking me lifestyle questions, listening intently and sharing multiple perspectives on my health issues. It is rare to have a wholistic doctor who treats the whole person. He comes from a long history of healers in his family . Gifted doctor.
I had high hopes for Dr.Mathew, I really did.But I honestly think he was more interested in my personal life then treating me as a doctor. This man invades your space Quiet often, and he made me feel very very uncomfortable. A few times he would pat my leg when he was speaking to me, to where I had to jerk my leg away, and I was on the verge of getting up and walking out.I had a mask on, and he proceeds to tell me I needed to take it off so that he could see my face.
