I’m a strong supporter of small businesses like Mathes Pharmacy, and I’m happy to pay a little more to support local businesses. In return, though, I expect transparency and fair customer service. I purchased a $118 bed guard for my mother-in-law, only to discover it was too small. There were no signs posted anywhere in the store indicating that certain medical supplies were final sale, and no one said anything before I completed my purchase.
