They don't care about patients, they constantly infantilize and use authoritative language in an ADULT program where it should be a mutual cooperation.
I’ve been reflecting on how far I’ve come. Before entering this program, I was severely mentally ill. My experience in the Mather Hospital PHP was the most damaging medical decision I have made in my entire journey. The program forces unsafe, rapid benzodiazepine tapers, ignores evidence-based deprescribing guidance, and responds to patients with gaslighting and blame instead of medicine. I've received great support from north well after suffering slight pyschiatric symptoms. Some of the staff I'd like to thank. They have assisted me in some capacity. Both the inpatient and outpatient provided outstanding care and help with my overall health, supporting my privacy and dignity throughout the whole process.
