This review is about Dr. Kot. She is fatphobic and is weight biased. Due to my body size she wanted me to do a procedure that is unnecessary and very invasive. Her bedside manner is horrible. For reference I am 5' 2" and 318lbs. I broke down in tears when she told me to lose weight. Wake up, BMI is bullshit. I know plenty of plus size women who don't have the same issue I have. My GP referred me to this clinic. When I called to see how long before I got in for my first appointment, the receptionist told me that they have an 18 to 24 month waitlist... How can their website state that they are accepting new patients, when it takes 2 years to even get into see someone?
Dr. Kot and the entire clinic team has been wonderful to deal with. Made my entire pregnancy and delivery very enjoyable!
