Amazing team! Dr. Jacobs is amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and makes you feel like a friend. I wish I came to her for my first pregnancy too! **for black mamas who don’t like going to doctors because of the way they might treat you, dr Jacobs will make you feel so welcome! We felt like she has known us from the beginning. She is a rare gem!
We were referred to Dr. Jacobs due to some unforeseen findings at our 20 week ultrasound appointment. We are beyond grateful to have been able to work with her and her team as we navigated through the challenges of this pregnancy. Horrendous experience. They said I could pay out of pocket for a lab test and it would cost $350. They said if I did that, they would not need to send it through to insurance and that it would be a maximum of $350. Instead, they filed it anyway and now I’ve been sent a bill for $2400. Absolutely disgusting. They have been useless dealing with this issue and created one headache after another. All because of their incompetence.
Maternal Fetal Consultants is a 10/10 medical facility. My husband and I were referred here due to an abnormal genetic testing result, and Dr. Jacobs ultimately gave us the diagnosis for our baby girl. Dr. Jacobs, genetic counselor Katie Douglass, sonographer Andrea, and the nurse (I forget her name, tall with blonde hair) were all phenomenal to work with.
